We are excited to introduce an in-depth, home study program for yoga teachers looking to expand their business, reach new clientele, and, most importantly, introduce yoga into their local, business community.
Designed and directed by Corporate Awakenings, Inc. founder Danielle Dulsky, E-RYT 500, the Birthing Karmic Capitalism program teaches students/teachers how to align their teaching philosophy with that of potential client organizations, design effective business proposals, and cater to various types of organizations.
We believe that corporate yoga IS and WILL CONTINUE TO BE an integral part of the global awakening, and yoga teachers have a genuine responsibility to MOVE BEYOND THE STUDIO.
Can I receive continuing education credit for the program?
The 25-Hour program fulfills Yoga Alliance requirements for NON-CONTACT CEUs. Because the program requires students to correspond consistently with the director, those who complete the program receive a certificate of 5 CEU HOURS (25 Non-Contact Hours = 5 CEU Hours).
How much does the program cost?
The full-program is $108, payable through PayPal. There are no additional fees for materials or assessment.
How does the program work?
After your payment is received, you will receive a confirmation e-mail, welcome letter, and your first lesson. All files are sent as a PDF via e-mail, so YOU MUST BE ABLE to open these types of files.
The lessons consist of approximately 12-20 pages of content, exercises, and assessments. Each lesson requires a time investment of approximately 5 Hours; the way this time is distributed varies from lesson to lesson but can manifest as writing assignments, multiple choice assessments, field research, reading, yoga practice, and creative expression.
Each lesson comes with one or more "deliverables." These are items that must be completed and returned so that Danielle can be certain that adequate progress is being made and to ensure grasp of content. The deliverables might be anything from a completed questionnaire to a free writing assignment. They are a reflection of how you have comprehended and PERSONALIZED the entire lesson.
Once the deliverables are submitted, you will receive comprehensive feedback within 48 Hours. PLEASE NOTE: If you are in a rush with respect to receiving your CEUs, let us know and we will TRY to speed up the assessment process.
If we do not feel that the deliverables reflect a firm grasp of the content, we may ask you to rework parts of the deliverables. THIS IS FOR YOUR BENEFIT. We want you to get as much out of this course as possible.
When the deliverables have been accepted, you will receive a GO-AHEAD to move on to the next lesson. If your deliverables have passed, the next lesson is usually e-mailed along with the feedback for the previous lesson.
Sooooo.... The gist is this: Payment is received, 1st lesson is mailed, deliverables are sent back to us, feedback is received and next lesson is mailed. Once ALL FIVE lessons have been completed, you will receive a PDF certificate of completion. If you require CEUs as an RYT, your signed certificate will be snail-mailed within 5 business days.
How long do I have to complete each lesson?
Barring any personal circumstances that might keep you from completing the lesson in time, you have three weeks to complete each lesson.
Are there any refunds?
There are NO REFUNDS on the program FOR ANY REASON. Once payment has been received, we are committed to providing you with the complete course and our fervent attention. We would never bill anyone extra for requiring more attention than other students, and, while we understand that life happens, our program is flexible enough that it can be integrated into everyone's busy, busy life.
What kind of support do I have during the process?
Support is what sets the Birthing Karmic Capitalism program apart from other, similar home study courses. The program was created and is maintained by Danielle Dulsky, E-RYT. She PERSONALLY grades the deliverables, offers feedback, and will answer all questions within 24 hours. She even encourages students to stay in touch after course completion and is ALWAYS willing to offer advice to program graduates.
I am a yoga teacher that lives and works outside of the United States. Is the program applicable to me?
While we cannot guarantee that ALL aspects of the program are applicable outside of the United States, the central premises of the program are universal.
